These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SoleMiles website and services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1) About the Service

SoleMiles provides public directories of running clubs and running races, plus related pages and submission forms. SoleMiles is not a race organiser, registration platform, timing provider, or ticket seller.

2) Accuracy & responsibility

We aim to present useful, accurate information, but club and race details, including schedules, dates, distances, locations, registration availability, eligibility, fees, and policies, can change without notice. Information on the Service may be incorrect, incomplete, or out of date. You must independently verify details with the official club, organiser, or registration source before attending or registering.

You are solely responsible for your participation in any runs or events. Running involves risks. Choose activities appropriate for your ability, prepare appropriately, and follow organiser instructions, local laws, and safety guidance.

3) User submissions & license

If you submit a club, race, or other content, you represent that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the rights to submit it. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, and display your submission for operating and promoting the Service. We may edit or refuse any submission at our discretion.

4) Correcting a listing

If you represent a club or race listed on SoleMiles and wish to update or remove information, contact us at admin@solemiles.com. We may ask for reasonable verification.

5) Prohibited conduct

• Posting illegal, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading content.
• Impersonating others or misrepresenting your affiliation.
• Scraping or bulk-downloading content except as allowed by applicable law.
• Attempting to disrupt, probe, or compromise the Service or its security.

6) Third-party services

The Service links to third-party websites and services, including club sites, organiser sites, registration platforms, social media, and Google Maps. Organisers and registration providers control entry availability, eligibility, fees, cancellations, postponements, transfers, and refunds. SoleMiles does not process registrations, payments, cancellations, or refunds and is not responsible for third-party content, policies, security, or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms and privacy policies.

Forms on the Service are protected by Google reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

7) Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

8) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoleMiles and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to use the Service in the 12 months before the claim (if any).

9) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SoleMiles and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your submissions, or your violation of these Terms.

10) Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you’ve violated these Terms or used the Service in a harmful way.

11) Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll change the “Last updated” date above and, if changes are material, provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New South Wales, Australia.
